You need a good shaving soap or shaving cream, plenty of warm water, a sharp razor blade or knife, a shaving mug, a shaving brush and some time.

Step 1: Prepare facial skin
Wash your face with warm water before shaving. On the one hand, this moistens your facial skin and prepares your skin for shaving. On the other hand, it removes dead skin flakes that could disturb the shave. If you like it very professional, use a towel that has been dipped in hot water and wrung out and lay it on your face for a few minutes. This opens the pores and the active ingredients of the shaving soap can penetrate the skin more easily. In addition, the stubble is pressed outwards, which allows a very smooth and deep shave.

Step 2: Lather up shaving foam
The shaving brush should be moistened well with warm water for foaming. Place your soap or cream in your shaving tool and lather the soap with circular movements until a rich lather is created.

Step 3: Apply shaving foam
Apply the shaving foam to your face with circular and sweeping movements. Avoid strong pressure of the brush on the skin.

Step 4: Start shaving
Now you can start to shave your beard with a sharp razor blade or razor knife.

Step 5: Completion of the shave
After shaving, we recommend removing the remains of the shaving foam with warm water and then moistening the face skin with cold water to close the pores. If necessary, you can use an aftershave lotion or balm.
